It’s that time of year again… An Evening to Ignite is BACK! We are thrilled to announce our charity partner for 2025 is @ripeforrevival. Ripe For Revival is a nonprofit that is focused on reconnecting the food system through practical, creative solutions that empower every member of the food supply cycle, from farmers to nonprofits and neighbors. In addition to our charity partner, we are excited to announce that @braswellfamilyfarms will be our title sponsor for 2025!
Ripe For Revival aims to bridge the gap between farm excess and food access. We live in one of the nation’s leading agricultural states and there are millions of families facing food insecurity daily. That should not be the case. Ripe For Revival runs pay-what-you-can mobile markets in central and eastern North Carolina with continued expansion into the greater triangle region including Wake and surrounding counties. The Mobile Market Program offers the accessibility to affordable fresh often local produce, proteins, dairy and eggs to communities facing food insecurity. The pay-what-you-can model offers inclusive shopping opportunities for the whole community. Their comprehensive approach to addressing food insecurity also involves hosting educational events on health, nutrition, reading, and hands-on experiential learning opportunities in the communities they serve.
In partnership with @eventsbylafete and @bandtogether_nc, we’re excited to share that our goal is to raise $150,000+ on Friday, March 14, 2025! We are so thankful for our Triangle events industry friends helpings us make An Evening to Ignite 2025 a fully donated event year after year. Join us as we rally the Raleigh community to match—and hopefully surpass—our $10,000 commitment. With your support, we can amplify our efforts, double our impact and make a lasting difference.
100% of every single dollar raised will go directly to purchasing critical supplies for families in the most dire need. If you are attending the event, be on the lookout for a list of physical donations that we will be collecting at the door and additional ways that you can help us raise money for WNC. ✨10 YEARS✨ of Merrimon-Wynne!
On January 31st, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Merrimon-Wynne’s grand opening! Our team was treated to a delectable 10-course meal by @snappeanc, each course was more creative than the next and it was a magical dining experience that kept us and our taste buds on our toes! Our team took turns sharing our favorite memories of Merrimon-Wynne and each memory inspired one of the courses. Sharing such a unique and unforgettable meal together was the perfect way to commemorate such an important milestone!
Over the past decade, Merrimon Wynne has had the honor of hosting over 1,000 events - being entrusted to provide the backdrop for so many of life’s celebrations, including weddings, baby showers, family photo shoots, holiday parties, galas, birthday parties, gender reveals, vow renewals, rehearsal dinners (just to name a few) is truly a privilege that we never take for granted.
We’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with our vendor partners to support local non-profits in the triangle area through our annual fundraising event, An Evening to Ignite which throughout the years has raised over $500,000! We take great pride in being part of an industry that actively contributes to the betterment of our community.
We’re immensely grateful for the trust and support of our clients, vendors and community. Each person who has stepped through our doors has made an indelible mark on us and celebrating people day in and day out gives us great joy. Crafting unforgettable experiences is our passion and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to live out our dreams while simultaneously being afforded the opportunity and honor of bringing other people’s dreams to life. If you are or know of a nonprofit focused on feeding families in need in the Triangle area, we would love to learn more about you and your organization and if you would be a good fit for this 100% donated one-of-a-kind fundraising event!
